Principal's Report

Book Week was a fantastic success last week! Students and teachers alike were immersed in a world of imagination and creativity. From dressing up as their favourite characters to participating in engaging storytelling activities, there was something for everyone. The week-long celebration not only fostered a love of reading but also encouraged students to explore different genres and authors. Our JP classes also visited Berri Library and took part in some fun activities there. It was a wonderful opportunity for both students and teachers to connect and share their passion for books.

The Riverland Music Festival was also a resounding success, thanks in large part to the incredible performances of our talented choir students! Their voices filled the air with beautiful melodies as they showcased their musical abilities after all the practice and effort on stage. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. A special thank you to Miss De-Gregorio for her guidance and support in preparing our students for this unforgettable experience.
This weekend, a group of our students will embark on a significant milestone in their faith journey as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in St. Mary's Church. This special occasion marks a deepening of their commitment to Christ and their Catholic faith. The students have been diligently studying and reflecting on the teachings of the Church, preparing themselves to receive the Holy Spirit.
We are incredibly proud of our students, Lilly, Ally and Ocea, who will be joined by students from other schools for the sacrament. We wish them all the best as they take this important step in their spiritual lives. May the Holy Spirit guide and inspire them on their journey of faith.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the fathers, grandfathers, uncles and others, who joined us for our Father's Day afternoon today. We hope you had fun and the smiles on the faces of our students showed that your presence and support meant so much to them. We appreciate the time you took to connect with your children and celebrate this special day. Thank you for being wonderful role models and for the love and care you provide your children. We hope you have a great Father’s Day on Sunday and your children treat you well.
