YEL Report
The YEL students presented a Reptile Workshop to the school this week to celebrate Science Week. Students learnt about lizards that you can found in the Riverland, why lizards are important to our ecosystem and ways you can help the lizards thrive in your backyard.
They also shared information about the Murray Darling Carpet Python and the importance of reporting any sightings so we can help this vulnerable species.
Next week the YEL students are heading to Murtho to help plant 900 plants to support Regent Parrots, another species in the Riverland we need to protect and support.
