In the previous newsletter I included information about our new wellbeing program iheart. After completing of the four foundational workshops over this term I wanted to share some feedback that we have received from students. After each lesson all students are given feedback sheets that are answered anonymously to let us know how students are travelling with their learning.
'Throughout the term I have really had fun with iheart. Yesterday I couldn’t play the final cricket game and I used my logical thinking and let that feeling go.'
'Iheart is really helping me control my anger when I don't get picked for a team'
'The other day I realised I was thinking illogical and used what I had learnt in iheart lessons to help me'
'Iheart is helping me understand how I feel and think'
'iheart is really fun and it is helping me so much with my thinking and feelings.'
'The other day I didn’t get angry with my Mum for asking me to clean up my room I just got it done'
Next term the program will continue to explore the like
'No one or no thing has the power to take away your wellbeing or make you feel worried, stressed or anxious'
'When you know a future event cannot give or take away your wellbeing or put a feeling in you – worrying about it makes less sense'
'We can see things differently and still be friends '
Have a fabulous Easter break and enjoy time with friends and family.
