Fluffy and Silky are two gorgeous chooks. But where do they go each night? Club Sparkles! Where they become Whitney and Britney, Chicken Divas.
Today students listened to Ms Steele read this gorgeous story by Australian author Lucinda Gifford as well as creating their own sparkling chickens.
Our Premier's Reading Challenge is up and running!
The Premier's Reading Challenge plays an important role in promoting the love of reading and this year more than any other, students will find joy, continuity and comfort in books. With your continued support, our students will keep reading and participating in the Challenge.
This year the Challenge is even more accessible with additional flexibility in the approach, instead of having to read 8 PRC books and 4 free choice - all books will be free choice.
Don't forget you can include audiobooks, comics, non-fiction texts, short stories and stories in different languages.
A huge congratulations to our fast finishers below who have earned their sport teams spirit points. All students who complete the challenge this term will earn 4 Spirit Points and 2 points next term. All forms will be handed into Sandy our PRC Co-Ordinator by the end of August.
A reminder that this year our school goal is for 100% of students to complete the Challenge and all OLOR staff are ready to support children to achieve this goal.
