Book Week

At OLOR we love books so it only makes sense that Book Week is one of our most favourite weeks! Throughout the week there were many opportunities to share a book with a buddy, staff held craft activities during lunch times that linked with the nominated Book Week books and  Read Alouds were plentiful! Our parade took place on Wednesday morning and was a buzz of excitement.  For the first time ever this was live streamed on Facebook, this allowed everyone to attend 'virtually' including our 6/7's on camp on Kangaroo Island. A big thank you to all the parents who put so much effort into their child's costume. Congratulations to Angus C, Angus DC, Kaiden, Olivia, Mitchell, Monica and Bailey who were drawn from our lucky dip prize and won themselves a new book to whisk them away to a "Old World, New World or Other World."
