Last Thursday, 21st October, the Year 7 class held the first assembly of Term 4 in the hall. This would be the final assembly presented by our Year 7 students here at Our Lady of the River. During our assembly, several students were kind enough to share some of their favourite poems they published during writing in Term 3. Each student also discussed their inspirations and use of poetic devices respectively.

Additionally, students from Foundation to Year 5 were awarded ribbons for their outstanding efforts in the Long Jump event. Well done to all who competed!

Finally, on behalf of the Year 7 class, I would like to thank all staff, students and families for attending our assembly.
