It has been a SUPER busy term in year 1! We have participated in so many events such as Book Week, Science Week, Book Fair, The Adelaide Strikers visit, hosting our class Liturgy and a spectacular visit from Andrew Chinn. In amongst these fantastic events, we have also been working hard in the classroom!

Religion

In Religion we focussed on the choices we can make and how we have special people in our lives that can help us to make positive choices. This fit in well with the Kindness challenge we have been participating in with Mrs. Schilling. We are loving showing acts of kindness each day in our class and in the school yard! Our Liturgy was a special morning spent with families and friends, taking a moment to reflect and focus on kindness and how we can live like Jesus.

English

In English, we focussed on two book week books, Lionel and Me, and SNAP! We loved presenting these at our Book Week assembly. We also LOVED dressing up as our favourite book characters.
